Multichannel-Livestream-Format von Alicia Agustín & Guerilla Architects
Mit der Trilogie „1 km2 Berlin – Die Tragödie der offenen Stadt“ begeben sich das Künstler*innenkollektiv Guerilla Architects und die Performerin und Autorin Alicia Agustín auf die Suche nach den Ambivalenzen zeitgenössischer Stadtentwicklung und machen diese als Gemeinschaftserlebnis erfahrbar. Im dritten und letzten Akt „The more you know…“ werfen sie einen Blick auf die Digitalisierung des Immobilienmarkts. In einem Livestream-Format tauchen sie in die Welt der Gig und Share Ökonomie ein, bei der alles zur Serviceleistung wird, selbst Wohnraum. Versprechen von Sicherheit, Flexibilität und Nachhaltigkeit gehen mit Datenextraktion und zunehmender Segregation der Bürger*innen einher. Haben unsere Präferenzen die Spur für diese Entwicklung gelegt? Womit füttern wir das algorithmische Orakel, welches unsere Zukunft simultan prophezeit und schafft?

Multichannel-Livestream-Format by Guerilla Architects & Alicia Agustín
In their trilogy „1 km² Berlin – The Tragedy of the Open City“ performer and author Alicia Agustín and the artists’ collective Guerilla Architects embark on a search for ambivalences within contemporary urban development, rendering them communally experiential. In the final instalment of the trilogy, the third act, entitled „The more you know…“, they take a look at the digitalization of the real estate market.
The ruins of the Brommy Bridge serve as the departure point of the series „1km² Berlin – The tragedy of the open city“. The structure evidently remains last bastion against the gradual privatisation of the neighbourhood. The square kilometre surrounding these ruins, declared a sacred place of pilgrimage, is the scene of a Greek-style tragedy in three acts, in which every figure inevitably gets their hands bloodied.
